Stazione Leopolda transforms into a realm of Italian food and wine during the annual event marked on the calendars of every professional in the field and the most enthusiastic foodies, with stands for all tastes, where guests can get to know and sample the wide selection of Italy’s best products. The theme of this 13th edition tackles the challenges of the future and focuses on foraging: collecting wild plants and cooking them whilst respecting their authenticity paves the way for a new idea of contemporary haute cuisine. Eating no longer means just nourishment and culture. Food is also a biological, social, economic and ethical act.
An exhibition organized by the independent book-magazine Dispensa recounts this unexplored scene alongside images in an extraordinary storytelling project. The celebrated food writer Csaba dalla Zorza discusses her ethics surrounding food, and coming to hear her speak are the thousands of visitors that come to taste the best of the best every year.
