XXXI Biennale dell'Antiquariato di Firenze
The Biennale Internazionale dell’Antiquariato (BIAF) is returning to the historic Palazzo Corsini in September. The fair’s history is dotted with masterpieces, having begun in 1959 with the exhibition dedicated to the most important Italian art of the past: paintings, furniture, tapestries, statues and stunning art objects. Renowned art dealers and antiques dealers present only their best pieces here. This year, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the fair’s beginnings, the calendar of events will include exclusive side events throughout the city: aperitivi on Ponte Vecchio, exhibition previews, book presentations and conferences.
During this edition, enjoy the exclusive offer for FYP friends and book your private visit to magnificent places that are normally closed to the public. Events include visits to the two terraces on the Florence Cathedral, a tour of Palazzo Antinori (with breakfast at Cantinetta), a visit to the art collection at Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze, a ride in a hot-air balloon above Florence, an exclusive aperitivo on the terrace at Palazzo Corsini and a visit to Palazzo Gondi (with a gourmet breakfast on the terrace, admiring one of the most beautiful views of the city). The secretary-general is Fabrizio Moretti, a renowned figure on the international arts scene. The Biennale is a must-see event for all those who love antiques and art in general.
